Introducing HAIRFIX SHD at in-cosmetics Latin America

3V Sigma USA is pleased to introduce HAIRFIX SHD, a high-performance hair fixative for hair styling applications, at in-cosmetics Latin America.

HAIRFIX SHD (INCI: Polyacrylate-2 Crosspolymer) is designed to deliver effective styling performance, including strong hold, curl retention under high-humidity conditions, and low flaking. Comparative testing against another Polyacrylate-2 Crosspolymer demonstrated competitive performance across key styling and physicochemical properties.

HAIRFIX SHD also offers formulators an alternative to PVP/VA fixative polymers. In comparative hair styling gel testing, HAIRFIX SHD demonstrated strong hold and curl retention, including 62.1% curl retention after exposure to 75–85% relative humidity compared with 58.9% for PVP/VA.
