3V Sigma USA serves multiple markets within the Polymerization Industry which include Polyolefins, Unsaturated Polyester Resins and PVC Resins.

Polyolefins:

3V Sigma USA’s portfolio of HALS includes monomeric, oligomeric and polymeric products, and low, high and ultra high molecular weight HALS. Our product offerings include UV absorbers and antioxidants allowing for stabilization systems to be individually tailored for superior performance.

3V Sigma USA Plastic Additives can be used in a variety of polymers, including polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, nylon, PVC, and others.

Unsaturated Polyester Resins:

3V Sigma USA’s portfolio of HALS includes UV absorbers and antioxidants allowing for stabilization systems to be individually tailored for superior performance for this Thermoset family of Resins.

In addition, our Tempoxy LO is used as a polymer inhibitor/stopper and for inhibiting the polymerization in the storage of the finished product.

PVC Resins:

3V Sigma USA produces additional Specialty Chemistries specifically in the PVC Polymerization Process:

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is produced through the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). 3V Sigma USA’s Secondary Suspending agents, Antifouling agents, and Polymer Inhibitors are used quite extensively in this process globally.

Our Everclean antifouling agents aid in the prevention of reactor fouling and polymer build-up in suspension PVC processes. This helps reduce heat transfer and product quality. If applied correctly they can provide savings in operational costs and time by increasing the number of batches between cleanings.

In addition, our Tempoxy LO aids in Stopping or inhibiting the Polymerization process through a 4 Hydroxy Amine chemistry.

Furthermore, 3V Sigma USA offers a wide range of polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) secondary suspending agents, which are used to control PVC porosity and improve drying and stripping in the PVC Polymerization process.
