SENSODERM PTS
Description:
Sensoderm PTS is a high molecular weight, low polarity, branched liquid ester derived from isostearic acid and pentaerythritol. It is a rich emollient with moderate viscosity that also functions as an excellent wetting and dispersing agent for pigments. Sensoderm PTS is an ideal replacement for mineral oil in occlusive emulsions needing substantivity and transfer resistance such as night creams, skin barrier repair products, and hair pomades. Additionally, it may be used as a minor constituent of a lightweight emulsion’s Ester Cascade to add sensorial depth.
