SYNTHALEN® KP
Description:
Synthalen KP, USP grade carbomer homopolymer type C, is a benzene-free synthetic polymer used in the pharmaceutical industry as thickener, rheology modifier, emulsion stabilizer, and suspending agent. Synthalen KP dispersions are characterized by high viscosity and clarity across a wide pH range. It is suitable for formulating sparkling clear gels and for stabilizing emulsions and dispersions for pharmaceutical applications. It can be used in topical preparations, oral products, and controlled-release oral products. Through our proprietary manufacturing technique, it is practically solvent free–well below the limit (600 ppm for class 2 solvents) recommended by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
