SYNTHALEN® LP
Description:
Synthalen LP, USP grade carbomer homopolymer type A, is a benzene-free synthetic polymer used as thickener, rheology modifier, emulsion stabilizer, and suspending agent. Synthalen LP dispersions are characterized by low viscosity and a suspending ability higher than other carbomers. This makes Synthalen LP the polymer of choice for the stabilization of fluid emulsions and suspensions. It can thicken compositions with high ionic strength. Through our proprietary manufacturing technique, it is practically solvent free–well below the limit (600 ppm for class 2 solvents) recommended by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
