SYNTHALEN® W2000
Description:
Synthalen W2000 is a hydrophobically modified alkali-swellable acrylic emulsion (HASE) polymer supplied as a low viscosity latex emulsion. Neutral dispersions of Synthalen W2000 are characterized by high viscosity and clarity. Immediate dispersion and compatibility with PVP and PVP/VA make Synthalen W2000 an excellent polymer for formulating hair styling products. Synthalen W2000 also shows strong thickening and suspending efficacy in surfactant systems and o/w emulsions. Thanks to its resistance to alkali, Synthalen W2000 can be used in formulations where high pH is required. Normal use is 0.50 – 7.00 % depending on formulation characteristics and desired viscosity.
