Description:
Uvasorb® Complete is a photostable, liquid, broad spectrum UV-B and UV-A sunscreen with high solubility in 3V Sigma USA’s Sensoderm emollients and other cosmetic oils. It can serve as the sole UV filter in formulations across all SPFs in Europe, Latin America, and ASEAN regions, offering UVA and UVB protection compliant with Colipa guidelines. Uvasorb® Complete enables cold processing for sun creams at any SPF, massively reducing the carbon footprint compared to traditional high-temperature methods, aligning with the latest ESG trends. It works synergistically with Rapidgel® EZ1/EZ2, Emulsiderm MPN and the Activederm line of actives, allowing cold processing without sacrificing stability and consumer-preferred sensoriality. Uvasorb® Complete supports formulations “free-from” Avobenzone, Metoxycinnamate, Octocrylene, and Homosalate. Its linear correlation between concentration used and SPF simplifies formulation design, reduces costs, and accelerates Time to Market.
