UVASORB® S5
Description:
Uvasorb S5 is a safe and effective water-soluble sunscreen with broad spectrum absorbance between 270 and 350 nm. Because of its excellent water solubility, Uvasorb S5 is particularly suitable for oil-in-water (O/W) sun creams and gels. Uvasorb S5 is often used as a colorant stabilizer for water based products such as styling gels, sprays, shampoos, bath gels, and fine fragrances. Labelled as Sulisobenzone allowable up to 10% by the FDA in the USA, it is frequently used in combination with oil-soluble UV filters to boost UV-A protection in sun screen emulsions.
